After tasting a disaster with his last film Bruce Lee, Ram Charan is playing it safe by remaking the super hit Tamil action thriller Thani Oruvan as his next film. Titled Dhruva, this film has already completed a schedule in Hyderabad and the next schedule will begin in Bangkok today.
Earlier, Dhruva's producer Allu Arvind planned of releasing the film in August. But with NTR's Janatha Garage poised to release in August on the 12th, Dhruva has now reportedly been advanced to July 31st. This date is historic in Ram Charan's career.
It was on the 31st of July 2009 that Ram Charan's second film Magadheera released and smashed all the existing box-office records of those times. Incidentally, it was Allu Arvind who produced Magadheera and looks like the uncle-nephew duo is banking on the Magadheera sentiment for Dhruva.
