Oopiri revenue not affected by T20

India and Australia took on each other on the last night in T20 World Cup. The movie is a virtual Quarter Final with both the teams having to win the match to get a berth in the Semifinals. Normally film theaters get emptied when such big matches are happening, but it is not in the case of ‘Oopiri’ on Sunday.

‘Oopiri’ still managed housefull collections in all the centers despite the match indicating the positive talk surronding the film. The movie had a very good first weekend at the box-office with collections of Sunday better than the collections of the first day in some areas. Looks like the movie has no stopping till ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ release.

In Overseas, the movie has nothing short of a dream run. The movie is inching towards One Million dollars gross there. Experts are hoping that it will touch 1.5 Million dollars mark which is first time for both Nagarjuna and Karthi. The movie is expected to bring super profits to every one involved in the film trade there.
