The land oustees of 119 shops and 84 residences on Yadagirigutta on Friday called on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao here when they were given a video presentation of the constructions to take place post-demolitions at the temple shrine.

Mr. Rao informed about 60 people who met him that there was no question of allotting petty shops uphill at the shrine to others.

There will not be any tendering either. Other than major commercial activity, the locals will be given preference in trade that will be permitted in the 1,000 acre temple city. He said the temple construction and other developments in the adjoining areas should take place simultaneously.

A release said Mr. Rao ordered alternative sites and release of construction cost for those who would lose houses in the expansion of roads. Only one way should be provided for going up the hill. Two way will create traffic problems.Footpaths should be constructed along highways.
