Recently Abhay Modani, 15, the student of X Class from the old city, was kidnapped and he was murdered on Wednesday. His body was found outside Secunderabad, railway station in a box. Although his parents were agreed to pay half of Rs 10 Crores ransom. Abhay Modani and Abhishek Modani were twin sons of Mr Rajkumar Modani and Ms Anuradha, residents of Srinagar in Shahinayathgunj area. Both were studying in Class X at Slate, The School, Abids. Abhay was kidnapped when he went outside for purchasing Idlies on Wednesday afternoon and on the same night, abductors demanded ransom of Rs 10 Crores but his parents agreed to pay Rs 5 Crores. According to West Zone DCP A. Venkateshwar Rao, abductors did not kidnap him for ransom of Rs 10 Crores, it was matter of Business rivalry and they tried to divert only and demanded ransom. DCP added that Kidnappers had called the parent for ransom after killing Abhay. His body was found stuffed in a carton outside the railway station. Task Force officials have arrested three of five suspects at Vijayawada and currently investigation is going on, police are busy in the hunt of remaining two. According to the police, kidnappers are the former employee of Abhay’s father. The police has declared reward of Rs 1 Lakh for those who will give the identify the kidnappers and murderer of Abhay Modani.
