The ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 9) will start on April 9, 2016. The first match will take place between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
On the other hand, the pay packages of the players participating in IPL 9th edition have been disclosed. Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore stood at the top of the list with Rs. 15 crore package. M.S. Dhoni of Rising Pune Super Gaints stood at the second spot with Rs. 12.5 crore package. Four players among the list are from the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
