Nandamuri Balakrishna has essayed dual roles in 16 films out of his career total of 99 films. That means that, Balayya played dual roles in more than 16% of his films. Now, if a latest grapevine is to be believed, Balakrishna will be playing dual roles in his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni- one as the Satavahana Empire and other a normal person of this generation.
Like his last film Kanche, director Krish will discuss about contemporary issues in Gautamiputra Satakarni too. The film story will travel between two eras- the ruling time of Gautamiputra Satakarni and how things had been changed in the current era.
So, Gautamiputra Satakarni is not just another regular historical drama film, as it will have a strong message in it for youth of this generation.
Meanwhile, Gautamiputra Satakarni was launched yesterday in Amaravati. The film will start rolling from 22nd of this month. Produced by Rajiv Reddy, the historical drama film will be made of Rs 70 crores budget. The makers have plans to release the movie for Sankranthi, 2017.
